Mitch Stanley, CGP, CGR, CKD, CBD, is co-founder of SHRD and has been building and remodeling homes for nearly 30 years. Mitch is an award winning Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and Certified Bath Designer (CKB) as accredited through the NKBA as well as a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) and Certified Green Professional (CGP) as accredited through the NAHB. Education is a high priority with us!
Stanley Home Renovation & Design was awarded " Remodeler of The Year " by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland and we are often engaged to present seminars about kitchen and bath design and general remodeling techniques and issues at various venues throughout the Portland Metro area, including the HBA's "Remodeling 101" Seminars, and the Spring and Fall Home and Garden Shows at the Expo Center.
Mitch is the current Chairman of the Professional Remodelers Organization (PRO), an elected member of the Board of Directors, and serves on the Executive Committee for the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland. Mitch has also sat on the Advisory Committee of the Building Construction Technology program at Portland Community College and is a seasoned guest speaker for various classes within this program.
Arlene Stanley is co-founder of SHRD. Arlene has been working with (and married to) Mitch for almost 20 years and has a diverse business background that includes sales, management, customer service and education. She has worked with Mitch on many construction projects and understands what it takes to get the job done right. Arlene is an active member of the HBA as well and serves on the Steering and Marketing Committees for the Professional Remodelers Organization of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland.
