"Our approach to design is that the space being created is for the clients use and enjoyment and it is the clients tastes and desires that are of paramount importance. Every new space should have elements that are unique to that particular client.

We begin the process by looking at the project from a practical standpoint to determine the layout that bests serves the clients interest given the existing and or potential space. Then it’s on to the fun part of assisting the client to select materials and finishes that fit their taste, their lifestyle, their dreams, and of course, their budget. This is all done with an air of excitement and enthusiasm with just the right mixture of humor and seriousness sprinkled about. This process is meant to be enjoyable and productive. We understand that many people may only do this once in their lifetime so the experience should be a memorable one in the most positive of ways."

Mitch Stanley,
CGR, CKD, CBD, has been building and remodeling homes for over 25 years.

Through the early years, Mitch's experiences in the various trades provided him the education to become a skilled craftsman who ultimately could deconstruct any area of a home and reconstruct it with expert quality of craftsmanship. With that keen eye for detail and a flair for design, Mitch decided to further his abilities with an education in design. He concentrated his efforts on learning the craft of space design. Both innovative, and traditional spaces, that would produce the same top quality results that he had so successfully implemented as a craftsman.

Mitch's education includes training from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) where he earned the “Certified Kitchen Designer” (CKD) and “Certified Bath Designer” (CBD) designations. As well, he holds the “Certified Graduate Remodeler” (CGR) designation accredited through the National Association of Home Builders and Remodelers (NAHBR). All of these designations require extensive experience, knowledge, rigorous exams and ongoing education that Mitch and his company enthusiastically embrace.

Mitch is often engaged to present seminars on kitchen and bath design as well as general remodeling techniques at various venues in the Portland Metro area, including Home and Garden Shows and the HBA’s “Remodeling 101” seminars.
